The Under-Graduate programme, Bachelor of Vocation (B. Voc), is integrated with the National Skills Qualification Framework to align higher education with skill development to make young graduates more employable for a growing job market through placement and entrepreneurship; and thus generate employable media practitioners. B . Voc courses with their thrust on skills and  hands-on training are different from conventional education which focuses only on theory and are thus more viable options for aspiring graduates. Our college was one of the privileged few to be selected by the UGC to start the prestigious B. Voc Course. We accordingly started B. Voc.  Visual Communication and Performing Arts. The response and results are outstanding. Graduates are able to get into industry, or begin their own entrepreneurial endeavors smoothly. 

Visual Communication is the major paper taught through six semesters. Students, having gone through visual communication will be able 

• To ideate, visualize, and execute meaning and aesthetically appealing graphic designs 

• To handle professional camera and do professional photographic projects

• To plan and design sound for various media productions 

• To script, shoot, edit and produce films and advertisements.

Performing arts (Theatre and Dance) is a minor paper through three years. is Having gone through Performing Arts education and training, students will be able

• To plan and stage plays theatre with all its elements like, writing, direction, stage management, light, sound, acting, makeup, costumes etc.
• To choreograph and execute dance shows.

The programme handholds every student to do projects, and help them to get into industry, or begin their own entrepreneurial endeavors. 

• Every student is part of graphic design, photography, advertisement, and film projects during their 6 semesters of undergraduate programme; which builds their skills and confidence.
• The Students stage a full fledged Theatrical performance (The Debut) in the III year of B voc.
• Skill component is handled by Industry experts.
• Major skills taught are assessed and certified by the Sector Skill Council of India.
• Students have internships and campus placement opportunities.

The course seeks to cultivate a streamlined creative process with training into skills and software needed to practice at industry level, like-

• Graphic Designing
• Photography
• Sound Design
• Scripting
• Cinematography
• Film direction
• Filmmaking
• Advertisement

The course also has Performing Arts (Theatre and Dance), enabling students to write and stage plays; and choreograph and perform dance.
