A week-long celebration was carried out by the Student council to commemorate the momentous occasion of India’s 75th Independence anniversary. These programmes were conducted from August 8 to August 12 through various cultural activities. On each of these days, classes across streams performed skits, elocution, dance, musical recitals and freedom paegents. Clubs and associations joined the student community in these programmes. NSS, NCC, ROTARACT, AICUF, RANGER UNIT came forth with vibrant performances. Students made an outstanding display of the spirit of patriotism and historical awareness by paying tribute to freedom fighters, farmers, soldiers, women activists and writers who have contributed to the growth of the nation. Depiction of national diversity, inclusivity and India’s exceptional cultural richness came forth through these programmes.
