The Innovation Mela 2025, organized by Jyoti Nivas College’s Institution Innovation Council (IIC) in collaboration with the NASSCOM Foundation and ThingQbator, was a highly successful event held at the Jyoti Auditorium. It brought together students, educators, industry leaders, and innovators to share knowledge, foster creativity, and promote collaborative innovation. The event featured a variety of insightful sessions, activities, and presentations aimed at inspiring young minds and facilitating interaction within the innovation ecosystem. A key highlight was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Jyoti Nivas College, NASSCOM Foundation, and ThingQbator, marking the beginning of a strategic partnership to offer students more opportunities in technology and social entrepreneurship. The event also included an orientation session on the ThingQbator program and an engaging quiz. The pitch presentations allowed participants to showcase innovative ideas, with winners receiving Amazon vouchers as prizes. The winners were as follows:
1st Place: Team Ignite - Lakshmi B and Geraldine Lawrence
2nd Place: Team Entrepreneur Bros - Oindree Bal and Neha D Ullal
3rd Place: Team Ladakhi Pomo - Stanzin Angmo and Sonam Ihadol
Additionally, top 5 quiz scorers received Amazon vouchers of Rs.1000 each and certificates in recognition of their knowledge and quick thinking. The winners were Jyothika S, Deepika R, V.L Shravya, Ifra Taj and GR Laavanya
