Vision: To inculcate logical thinking and scientific reasoning to innovate and adapt to the fast evolving field of Electronics.

Mission: To facilitate learners to develop critical thinking skills and keen interest for recent advancements in Electronics.

Electronics- the science of electrons, is a fast moving and much sought after subject today. Electronics, which evolved as a branch of Physics, has grown into a separate and distinct subject due to rapid development in technology. To cater to the growing demand of the Industry and Technology, the department of Electronics was introduced in Jyoti Nivas College Autonomous in the year 1988.

The department has established a MOUs with reputed organizations, National Aerospace Laboratory (NAL) and Texas Instruments for academia and research. Every year the department organises Electronics projects exhibitions, conferences, seminars and workshops.

The Bachelor of Electronics programme is designed with the objective of preparing the graduate for professional practice in the rapidly evolving global Electronic industry. This course is designed in a manner which equips the first time learner of electronics to identify the components, understand its various applications and to build a project that is based on the concepts learned in all the semesters. The Department has two full fledged laboratory for both Analogue and Digital.

Embedded system design and Medical Electronics are introduced as Elective Subject Papers within the BSc Electronics Course to provide an excellent education incorporating industry relevant skills. The Board of Studies comprises of senior staff from well renowned institutes and industry.
