The objective of this IT club is to break the ice ceiling between the students and make the
session interactive also empowering with future career options. The senior students started
with 3 games with 7 rounds, those were guess the brand tag, whisper challenge, and back to
back drawing. Guess the brand tag: The game is mind game that was about to guess the brand
name from the scenarios that was presented. Whisper challenge: The Whisper Challenge is a
fun group game and the purpose of the game is to guess what another person is saying while
wearing headphones and listening to music. Back to Back drawing: Working in pairs, one
person must describe a shape without naming it, whilst their partner must try to draw the
shape they are describing to try and get as close the original shape as possible.
This activity focuses heavily on verbal communication and listening skills. This program
helped students interact with their seniors and get to know them better. This also helped them
overcome their fear of the stage.

IT club activity, cursor crew is conducted for the students to update them with the current IT
trends. Apart from increasing the technical knowledge of students, these activities will give
them a good opportunity to organize and coordinate events. It promotes teamwork and
communication between each and every students.
To understand the role of education in India’s G20 presidency the department of MCA
conducted IT Club activity posterico – poster presentation on India’s G20 presidency.
Education is a priority area for India’s G20 presidency. It is deemed to be the duty of every
Indian to feel the spirit of the theme and make it feel within themselves and enact accordingly
by spreading the message in all possible manner. By keeping this in mind the department of
MCA has conducted its IT Club activity Posterico- Poster presentation based on India's G20
presidency. Posters are presented on following topics: Digitalization, W20, Multilateral
Institution, History of G20, Green development – climate, finance and life, Technological
Transformation and DPI

Event: Career Guidance (Level – Departmental Webinar)

Objective: The webinar gave an Insight to prepare the students/ fresher for the right job in the right company.

Highlights: The Resource person, Ms.Priyanka Jalan, Our proud alumini (2012-15 batch) shared her experience as a student and how the MCA curriculum helped her gain practical knowledge and prepared her for the IT field. She spoke about the current industry trends and what are the requirements and how students have to prepare themselves to get a better job. A demo on the ‘Techiio Website’ developed by Ms. Priyanka and team gave insights on features automated resume builder, blog and discussion forum on recent IT technologies.
Outcome: It was really a wonderful session which gave us an insight on different aspects of the IT industry. The webinar also gave us an idea on how to make ourselves worthy by mastering our technical skills and choosing the right career.

Outcome: The session was very interesting to hear practical insights from the speaker’s life experiences and the participants were motivated to dream big.

Second It Club - Cursor Crew - Orientation Of First Year Students By Second And Third Year MCA Students.
IT club activity, Cursor Crew is conducted for the students to update them with the current IT trends. The IT club for the academic year 2019-2020 was inaugurated on 27th July 2019. The student from 5th semester MCA presented their research paper which is a part of their research lab. Our proud alumina Ms. Shama Naganbhushan, Quality Engineer, EFI India Pvt Ltd, Mr. Arpit Parnami, Quality Engineer, EFI India Pvt Ltd evaluated their presentations.
The department of MCA conducted a regional workshop on “Azure DataBricks” with active participation of students from various colleges. The resource person for the workshop was Mr. Balachandar Application Delivery Lead-SHELL. The workshop comprised of two sections: first ‘Introductory lecture on Databricks’ and the second ‘A hands-on session on Databricks’.
Any institutions’ alumni are key to its growth. The department of MCA executed its first annual alumni meet which brought more than 15 of its alumni from different batches. This meet gave an excellent platform for the alumni to reconnect with their friends to celebrate their success and various achievements.
The department of MCA conducted a regional workshop on “NoSQL Using MongoDB”. 122 students from various colleges participated in the event. The resource person for the workshop was Mr. Sandeep, Full stack and Mobile Engineer at Cyware Labs. The workshop covered the basics of NoSQL databases, its types, and MongoDB.
A one hour Program on “Social Awareness” was conducted by Roshan Sylvester on 13th July 2019 to spread awareness about the social causes and issues. It was a platform to sensitize students with the problems of society and act upon them favourably.
The third year MCA students presented (Mobile application development) mini project to second and first year students. The presentation covered detailed steps of the development of mobile aps.
