Event: Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat Poster Presentation-Cuisines of Uttarakhand

Objective: To equip the students to enhance understanding and bonding between the states and thereby strengthening the unity and integrity of India through the poster presentation on the cuisine of Uttarakhand.
Participants: Students of First Year and Second Year MCA
Highlights: The poster presentation focused on the cuisine of the state Uttarakhand. This activity briefed about varieties of foods prepared according to different regions of Uttarakhand. The cuisines of Uttarakhand is simple yet incredible which not only satisfies the taste buds but also boost the immunity power of the body. The participants prepared the posters on varieties of famous dishes like Gahat soup, Meetha Bhat, Rasmi Baadi, Urad daal pakora, Chudkaani, Singori, Phaanu, Thichodi, Gulgula , etc, a mixture of spicy and sweet dishes. The participants were generous enough to contribute to the event.
Outcome: Through this innovative measure, the students showcased the knowledge of cuisines of Uttarakhand according to different regions.

Event: Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat Activity-Kahoot Quiz on Uttarakhand
Date: 08-10-2021
Objective: To equip the students to enhance understanding and bonding between the states and thereby strengthening the unity and integrity of India through a quiz activity on the Cultures of Uttarakhand.
Participants: Students of First Year and Second Year MCA
Highlights: The quiz activity conducted virtually on Kahoot platform focused on the Cultures of the state Uttarakhand. Uttarakhand is home to multiple ethnic groups, each having its own culture. Mountain regions have their own distinct traditions and one can say that the heritage of Uttarakhand is composed of a combination of Kumaoni and Garhwali cultures. The participants were asked to answer to the quiz questions based on Uttarakhand. Through this quiz activity, the participants acknowledged various facts and cultures of the state Uttarakhand. The participants were generous enough to contribute to the event.
Outcome: Through this innovative measure, the students showcased the knowledge of culture of Uttarakhand.

Event: Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat Activity-Kahoot Quiz on Uttarakhand

Activity: Kahoot Quiz on tourist places in Uttarakhand
On 8th December 2021 the department of MCA conducted Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat activity – Kahoot quiz on Uttarakhand. Quiz was based on tourist places of state, which helped students to gain knowledge about the state and activity was conducted in Kahoot .Students enjoyed this activity and answered the questions related to following tourist places such as Rishikesh, Kedarnath, Badrinath, Nainital etc.

Event: Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat Activity-Essay writing on different dance forms of Uttarakhand
Participants : First Year students of MCA
Objective : To motivate students to gain knowledge about different dance forms of Uttarakhand Through this Innovative measure, we gain the knowledge of the culture, traditions and practices of different States, it will lead to an enhanced understanding and bonding between the States, thereby strengthening the unity and integrity of India.
Highlights: We conducted "Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat" activity essay writing on different dance forms of Uttarakhand state for Students. The essay was based on culture, traditions and of state. Which helped students to gain knowledge about the state and their culture.
This opportunity helped the students to perceive that uttarakhand has a 'Pahari' culture. Folk dance, music and festivals are a huge part of uttarakhand culture. This helped the students to enhance their knowledge and improve their Cultural Awareness.
Outcome: Through this activity, students were encouraged and motivated to gain knowledge on different cultural heritage of Uttarakhand state and skills to increase their understanding and appreciation of cultural differences and similarities within, among, and between groups.
