Christmas Celebration

The Christmas Program with a theme of ‘Jingle and Mingle’ organised by the Department of M.com (FA ) & MBA was held on 22 December 2022. It had approximately 150 participants. Christmas being a season of sharing love and sharing , this celebration was organised to bring people together , get the awareness of the advent season and the true purpose of advent candles, with a spirit of joy and hope.

Faculty Development Programme

The 5 Day National Level FDP was jointly conducted by the department of M. Com(FA) and MBA, the event was conducted from 28 th of November 2022 to 2 nd December 2022, the FDP was on the Topic Exploring research using SPSS, the resource person was Dr. Ratchana from ISME, Bengaluru. The FDP was conducted on a digital platform using Microsoft Teams.

Indian Constitution Day

The department of M. Com (FA) and MBA jointly hosted a constitution day on 25 th November 2022, to commemorate the purpose of the constitution for which it was formed, the event began at 11:30 am with a welcome note and introduction about the purpose of which it was formed and also the event emphasised the need to commemorate our constitution day.

Jyoti Summit 2022 :An international conference

Objective of the program:
• To let know students about various financial strategies, available in the economy
• To familiarize them with concepts of G20 and financial ethics
• To bring in adverse paper presentations on finance and as a policy in education

Outcome of the program:
• The students got exposed to several financial strategies available in the economy
• The students got acquainted with importance of G20 in finance and various phases of financial ethics
• The students were able to bring out their research skills with the help of paper presentations.

Freshers day 2022

The department of M.com (FA) hosted a fresher’s day to the newly joined 1 st M. Com on 5 th November 2022. The event was hosted by the final-year students of M. Com (FA) and M. Voc (B& F). The objective was to welcome the newly joined students for the academic year 2022 to 2024. This event was to make them feel comfortable with the college environment, build rapport and have a cordial relationship to conduct various academics and extracurricular activities together.
