Jyoti Nivas College founded by the sisters of St. Joseph’s of Tarbes in 1966, has been affiliated to Bangalore University, reaccredited by NAAC with ‘A+’ grade in the 4th cycle in 2021, and recognized as College of Excellence by UGC. The Department of MCA started in the year 2003 aims to provide high-quality education and shape the students according to the industrial requirements.
The college's postgraduate centre is an important pillar in the college’s journey of achievement and development. The postgraduate centre, true to the motto of the college, ‘Let your light shine’, is committed to encourage independent thinking in both its staff and students.
