LIBRARY AND INFORMATION CENTER
The library is spacious and well ventilated. The overall purpose of the Library and Information Centre is to support the curriculum offered at the Jyoti Nivas College. The function of the library is to support and enrich classroom instruction through a collection of carefully selected material based on courses and programs offered by the college. Internet Access, Book Bank, Digital Library, Printing, CCTV Surveillance, Online Database Access, Question Bank and Remote Access facilities are available in the library. Books borrowed from the library must be returned in good condition on the last working day of each semester.

Monday to Friday : 8.00am to 5.30pm
Saturday : 8.00am to 4.00pm
The uniqueness of the JNC Library
- 10 Laptops under Digital Lending Service are available. Students & faculties can borrow a laptop for 1-4 hours for their project work, online classes etc..
- Research Support Services like- Online Search Strategies - Discovery Tools and Federated Search, Research Consultations, Publishing and promoting your research, Referencing Styles - APA, MLA, Chicago etc.. are available.
- Houses more than 60 unique journal titles in arts, science and commerce.
- Introduced E-Document Delivery Service (E-DDS) during lockdown to support online learning. Students and faculties can request ebooks, ejournal articles and other library e-materials from home (off campus).
- Braille Digital learning centre with screen reading software like NVDA, INDO-NVDA are installed
- Braille Digital learning centre with Pearl OpenBook scanning and reading software is installed that instantly converts printed materials to speech.
- Students & faculties can access e-resources from off campus. Login credentials are shared. (Namely -DELNET, NLIST, Galileo, British Council Library)
- Inclusion of enough information about the library on the college’s official website including links to Online learning platforms like-SWAYAM, UGC-MOOCs, ePG-Patashala, SWAYAM Prabha and access to previous year question papers.
