MA (English) - Syllabus

The Masters in Arts (English) Programme was started in 1991. For 16 years, it has successfully been sending out MA English graduates who have spread themselves all over the globe. The MA English is a four-semester course designed with the objective of introducing students to a wide range of emerging areas of literary study, to inculcate in them a spirit of critical enquiry and develop their analytical, critical and creative faculty. Papers on language, structure and teaching of English have been included to orient students to the demands of market forces.
